From Survival to Strategy Thought Audit

From Survival to Strategy Thought Audit

Identify where you’re operating out of survival, and how to shift into spirit-led strategy.

1. Current Mindset Scan

• What thoughts have been on repeat lately?

  > (Write down 3–5 dominant thoughts)

• Are these thoughts more reactive or reflective?

☐ Mostly fear-driven or defensive (Survival)

☐ Forward-thinking or faith-based (Strategy)

2. Pressure Points

• What areas of life feel the most overwhelming right now?

  > (Examples: finances, relationships, purpose, health)

• What emotions are showing up alongside the pressure?

  > (Examples: anxiety, numbness, anger, exhaustion)

3. Survival Patterns

• What behaviors are showing up that point to a survival mindset?
  > (Check any that apply)

  ☐ People-pleasing

  ☐ Overworking

  ☐ Withdrawing

  ☐ Procrastination

  ☐ Negative self-talk

  ☐ Avoiding hard decisions

  ☐ Playing small

4. Strategic Reframe

For each survival pattern you checked above, write a strategy-based replacement thought or action.

Example: “I avoid hard decisions” → “I will choose clarity over comfort this week by…”

5. Power Questions to Refocus

• What’s one area where I’ve been reacting instead of responding?

• What truth do I need to stand on this week?

• What would a faith-filled strategy look like in this situation?

6. Scripture Anchor

Choose a verse to meditate on as you shift from survival to strategy:

Example: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
